General Instructions for Applicants

To ensure a smooth application process for WAPDA Jobs-2024, applicants must carefully read and follow the instructions below:

  1. Application Process:

    • Applicants are advised to visit the official Open Testing Service (OTS) website at https://ots.org.pk to fill out the application form.
    • Applications submitted by hand or received after the due date will not be entertained.
    • Candidates must submit the prescribed application form along with attested copies of all educational documents, domicile certificates, CNIC, relevant experience certificates, and recent passport-sized photographs.
    • A test fee of Rs. 200 must be paid through Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL branches.
  2. Age Relaxation:

    • General age relaxation of 5 years has already been included in the age limit. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist communities, recognized tribes of Tribal Areas, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, Sindh (Rural), and Balochistan are eligible for 3 years of age relaxation.
    • Upper age limit is relaxable by up to 10 years for government and WAPDA employees with 2 years of continuous service.
  3. Selection Process:

    • A written test will be conducted by OTS, and interviews will be conducted by WAPDA.
    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews, and candidates will be informed about test centers, timings, and other details via text message by OTS.
    • No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.
  4. Quota for WAPDA Employees' Children:

    • Only children of WAPDA employees are eligible to apply under the WAPDA Employees Children Quota (ECQ).
    • Relevant documentary proof, such as an affidavit and employment certificate, must be submitted during the interview process.
  5. Proficiency Tests:

    • Certain positions, such as Motor Winder, Machinist, and Crane Operator, require candidates to pass a proficiency/skill test.
  6. Document Verification:

    • All educational certificates must be verified by HEC or recognized boards/institutes.
    • Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
