Shakila Masnoon has made history by becoming the first female Executive Engineer at the Public Works Department (PWD) headquarters in Gilgit-Baltistan. Previously serving as the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO)

Shakila Masnoon has made history by becoming the first female Executive Engineer at the Public Works Department (PWD) headquarters in Gilgit-Baltistan. Previously serving as the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) at the Circle Office headquarters in Gilgit, her appointment to this prestigious role marks a significant milestone for women in the region.

Assuming her duties as the first-ever female Executive Engineer in the department, Shakila Masnoon expressed her pride and dedication to public service. She emphasized that her appointment is both an honor and a responsibility, and she is committed to serving the people of Gilgit-Baltistan with integrity and dedication. In her remarks, she stated, "Being appointed as the first female Executive Engineer in the department is a source of great pride. I am determined to address the challenges faced by the division and take practical steps to resolve them. The Provincial Secretary of Public Works, who was present at the occasion, appreciated Shakila Masnoon's contributions to the department and praised her dedication to public welfare.
