Position Details:
Driver (BS-05)
- Educational Qualification: Middle pass
- Location: Various district offices
- Total Vacancies: 01
- Additional Requirement: Applicants for this position must possess a valid driving license with at least five years of experience in a related field. Drivers play an important role in the smooth operation of food distribution, ensuring that supplies reach their destinations promptly and safely. Applicants should be able to navigate routes efficiently, maintain the vehicle's condition, and follow all road safety regulations.
Naib Qasid (BS-01)
- Educational Qualification: Primary pass
- Location: Assigned to AD Office and CSO Office
- Total Vacancies: 03
- Additional Requirement: The Naib Qasid position is an entry-level job responsible for performing general office tasks such as delivering documents, running errands, and supporting office staff with day-to-day activities. A high level of responsibility and reliability is expected from candidates.
Chowkidar (BS-01)
- Educational Qualification: Primary pass
- Location: Assigned to AD Office and CSO Office
- Total Vacancies: 02
- Additional Requirement: Chowkidars are tasked with the protection and security of the office premises. Candidates applying for this position must be vigilant and possess basic knowledge of security protocols. Their responsibilities include monitoring the entry and exit of personnel and securing the office after work hours.

Instructions for Applicants:
Age Relaxation: Candidates who have been working in any government department for a minimum of two consecutive years without any interruptions are eligible for upper age limit relaxation as per the current regulations of the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Government Employees: Applicants currently employed in the government sector are required to submit their applications through the proper channel, i.e., via their respective department heads. Failing to do so may result in the disqualification of their applications.
Reserved Quotas: In accordance with the government’s policies on inclusivity, a quota of 2% is reserved for persons with disabilities, 5% for minorities, and 10% for women in the advertised positions. These quotas apply at the district level and are meant to ensure equal employment opportunities for underrepresented groups.
Vacancy Adjustments: The total number of vacancies is subject to change based on the needs of the department. The Directorate of Civil Supply and Transport, Gilgit-Baltistan reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions at any time during the recruitment process.
Preference for Experience: While fresh candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in relevant fields. Experience in driving, office support, or security will be considered an asset.

Shortlisting for Interviews: Only those candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and pass the initial screening process will be shortlisted for interviews. The Directorate of Civil Supply and Transport, Gilgit-Baltistan will notify these candidates in due course.
Application Forms: The application form can be obtained from the district offices of the Directorate of Civil Supply and Transport, Gilgit-Baltistan or the Department of Food. It is essential that the form is filled out carefully and accurately.
