The Ministry of Defense has announced vacancies for the positions of Soldier General Duty and Clerk in the Defense Security Force. To fill these positions, recruitment teams are conducting visits for registration and tests in various provinces including Punjab, Sindh, and Lower Balochistan. The registration and test timings will be from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the locations listed below.
Positions and Eligibility:
Soldier General Duty:
- Education: Matric or above
- Age: 17 to 23 years
- Height: 167.5 cm (5 feet 6 inches) minimum
- Chest: 78-83 cm (30 to 32 inches)
- For candidates from Balochistan:
- Education: Middle pass or above
- Age: 18 to 25 years
- Height: 162.5 cm (5 feet 4 inches) minimum
Clerk:
- Education: Intermediate or above
- Age: 17 to 23 years
- Height: 162.5 cm (5 feet 4 inches) minimum
Note:
- Candidates who are less than 20 years of age will receive an age relaxation of one year if they have completed B.Sc. or higher education.
- Only male Pakistani Muslims who meet the physical and educational standards should apply. They must bring their original documents, including educational certificates, CNIC, and domicile, verified by a Class-1 officer.
- Candidates must appear at the designated recruitment centers with a passport-sized photograph and their original documents on the specified dates.
Registration and Test Locations:
Recruitment will be conducted in different districts on the following dates:
- October 2, 2024: Attock
- October 3, 2024: Chakwal
- October 4, 2024: Jhelum
- October 5, 2024: Rawalpindi
- October 6, 2024: Islamabad
- October 7, 2024: Murree
- October 8, 2024: Kotli
- October 9, 2024: Bhimber
- October 10, 2024: Mirpur

Important Notes:
- No TA/DA will be provided for the recruitment process.
- Candidates found with forged documents will face legal action, and their applications will be rejected.
- Selected candidates will undergo a detailed medical examination, and only those who are medically fit will be eligible for training.
- Candidates should bring PT shoes for the physical test and writing materials for the written exam.
- Only candidates from the specified districts should appear for registration and tests on the given dates.
