REVIEW OF RECRUITMENT POLICY
I am directed to refer to the above subject and to convey that, in pursuance of the decision made by the GB Cabinet in its 12th meeting held on August 19, 2024, the S&GAD and Cabinet Department has constituted the following committee to review the existing recruitment policy, contract appointments, waiting policy, etc., and present its recommendations to the GB Cabinet:
- Senior Minister for Finance, GB
- Senior Minister for Law and Tourism, GB
- Minister for P&DD, GB
- Secretary, S&GAD and Cabinet, GB
In light of the above, the competent authority has directed that all recruitment processes across Gilgit-Baltistan be suspended until the committee completes its review and submits its findings and recommendations regarding the recruitment policy. This includes the postponement of any scheduled tests or interviews until the revised recruitment policy is finalized.
You are therefore requested to kindly issue the necessary instructions to all Administrative Secretaries/HoDs to ensure compliance.
