1. Senior Field Engineering Officer
Terms of Reference
- Position: Senior Field Engineering Officer
- Organization: WWF-Pakistan
- Reporting to: Coordinator Civil/Environmental Engineer
- Grade/Title: C-2
- Duty Station: Regional Head Office, Gilgit
- Employment Contract: Long Term
- Work Week: 5 days (Monday through Friday) - 40 hrs/week
- Work Hours: 0830 hrs to 1715 hrs (with 45 minutes lunch & prayer break)
Working Relationships
- Programme Team and Technical Engineering team.
Job Summary
The incumbent will support the Coordinator Civil/Environmental Engineer in the development of engineering drawings and BoQs for the execution of activities in the WRAP Project.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits for data collection/technical assessment of proposed physical interventions.
- Develop CAD drawings (plans/drawings/sections) complete in all respects.
- Develop BOQs (measurement sheet/materials analysis/abstract), ensuring value for money.
- Develop additional shop drawings in revision, their cost analysis, etc.
- Supervise field activities.
- Coordinate with other team members.
- Conduct field visits for monitoring activities at field sites when assigned.
- Keep records of all engineering-related data.
- Perform any other assigned task by the supervisor.
- Handover all project-related data to office management after the expiry of the contract.
Selection Criteria
Education, Experience & Working Knowledge
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of experience.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Local candidates and those with experience in AutoCAD and Google Maps will be preferred.

2. Conservation Officer
Terms of Reference (ToRs)
- Position: Conservation Officer
- Project: Water Resource Accountability in Pakistan (WRAP) Project
- Reporting to: Project Site Incharge, Mansehra
- Grade/Title: C-3
- Duty Station: District Mansehra
- Employment Contract: Long Term
- Work Week: 5 days (Monday-Friday) - 40 hrs/week
- Work Hours: 0830 hrs to 1715 hrs
General Requirements
- Physically fit for traveling/trekking in rugged mountain areas.
- Familiarity with social, cultural, and geographical context.
- Willing to spend time with local communities and work in challenging field conditions.
- Proficient in English and local languages.
- Based at project locations but requires frequent road traveling.
- Proven problem-solving skills and results orientation.
- Sensitivity to gender and other current social issues in countries like Pakistan.
- Vibrant and amicable personality.
Qualification and Experience
- A postgraduate degree in Natural Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Forestry, Wildlife, or a related field.
- At least two years of similar working experience with a government or non-government organization of high standard and repute.
- Computer literate (capable of using MS Database and MS Office packages).
- Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Project Site Incharge, the Conservation Officer will be responsible for the smooth implementation of the project in District Mansehra, covering the following responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies for site-based activities ensuring Nature-Based Solutions (NBS).
- Facilitate site teams in conservation-related technical activities and reporting.
- Implement community-based natural resource management (NRM) plans for improving the health and integrity of ecosystems and supporting sustainable livelihoods.
- Inform and coordinate with relevant stakeholders and program partners and involve them in project interventions.
- Participate in community mobilization meetings with project staff and develop meeting minutes and Terms of Partnership (ToPs) at the community level.
- Liaise with project communities for timely delivery and active participation in field-based interventions.
- Prepare presentations and assist the reporting officer in delivering presentations to stakeholders.
- Support in organizing events and capacity-building workshops at the respective site.
- Provide technical assistance to other site offices as per their requirements.
- Develop success stories, concept notes, and brief news for Panda Post and WWF-Pakistan's Annual Report from site-specific interventions.
- Prepare field reports and ensure timely submission of technical reports to the supervisor.
- Maintain all project-related data in both hard and soft forms.
- Perform any task assigned by the supervisor apart from project activities.
