1. Case No.F.4-97/2024-R (6/2024)
Position: LECTURER (MALE) (BS-17), PERMANENT
Department: DIRECTORATE OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS (CANTTS/GARRISONS)
Ministry: MINISTRY OF DEFENCE
Minimum Qualification: Second Class or Grade 'C' Master's degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject.

Minimum Qualification/Experience:
Ph.D. Degree in the relevant subject with one (1) year post qualification teaching experience at College/University level.
OR M.Phil Degree in the relevant subject with three (3) years post qualification teaching experience at College/University level.
OR Second Class or Grade 'C' Master's Degree in the relevant subject with five (5) years post qualification teaching experience at College/University level.
Age Limit: 25-35 years (Maximum age for candidates holding a Ph.D. Degree shall be 38 years) plus five (5) years general relaxation in upper age limit.

Minimum Qualification:
Second Class or Grade 'C' Master's degree in Health & Physical Education or equivalent qualification from a University/Institution recognized by HEC.
OR Second Class or Grade 'C' Bachelor's degree with Diploma in Physical Education or equivalent qualification from a University/Institution recognized by HEC.
Age Limit: 20-28 years plus five (5) years general relaxation in upper age limit.
Number of Vacancies: SIX (6)

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Observance of General Instructions: In all cases, eligibility of the candidates shall be determined as per the Commission's policy laid down in the General Instructions displayed on FPSC's website. Candidates are advised to thoroughly review these instructions before applying.
Procedure to apply:
(i) All applications must be submitted online through FPSC's website: www.fpsc.gov.pk.
(ii) Candidates may edit their online applications only once within the closing date to rectify any error/omission.
(iii) Information claimed in the online application form will be treated as final.
(iv) Subsequent claims of experience, not previously declared in the online form, will be considered afterthoughts and an attempt to gain eligibility. Such claims will not be accepted.
(v) The Commission may publish syllabi on its website prior to the conduct of the screening (MCQ) test/written (descriptive) examination. Candidates should frequently visit the FPSC website to ensure they have studied the syllabus and printed their Admission Certificate for the post they applied for.
(vi) Detailed General Instructions/guidelines for applying online are available on the website.
(vii) No hardcopy of the online application is required from the applicants.
(viii) No manual application will be accepted for General Recruitment cases. Only online applications submitted on or before the cut-off date will be processed.
Application Fee:
(i) The fee for various posts is:
BS-16 to 17 = Rs. 300/-;
BS 18= Rs. 750/-;
BS-19= Rs. 1200/-;
BS-20 and above- Rs. 1500/-
(ii) The fee must be deposited on or before the closing date in the nearest Government treasury, a branch of National Bank of Pakistan, or a State treasury authorized to transact business on behalf of the Government under the head "C02101-ORGANS OF STATE EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY FPSC". Bank draft/Cheque/Postal Order is not acceptable.
(iii) Preserve the original Treasury Receipt (T.R) and provide it to the supervisory staff at the time of the test/examination at the center mentioned in the Admission Certificate. Photocopy or Bank Scroll is not acceptable.
(iv) The T.R should not be sent to FPSC in advance but provided at the time of the test/exam or when requested.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: The maximum age limit prescribed under the Recruitment Rules shall be relaxed in accordance with the Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993 (as amended from time to time). Details are provided in para-6 of the General Instructions available on FPSC's website www.fpsc.gov.pk.
Shortlisting criteria for interview: Candidates will be shortlisted for interview according to the Commission's policy outlined in para-16 (A, B & C) of the General Instructions.
Documents required from the candidates:
(i) After the test/exam, candidates on the higher merit positions in each quota will be required to submit attested copies of the following documents within 15 days of receiving notice from FPSC via post, SMS, and email:
Two photographs
Matric, Intermediate certificates
Bachelor's, Master's, M.Phil, Ph.D. Degrees
CNIC
Experience Certificate (where required) showing the nature of work/detailed job description issued by an authorized officer of the Ministry/Division/Department concerned
Domicile Certificate
Departmental Permission Certificate (in case of government servant)
Original TR (in non-test cases)
(ii) If a candidate claims equivalence of a required degree, an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC or relevant forum must be provided to FPSC for authentication.
(iii) Experience from Firms/Companies/Institutions/Organizations/Banks/NGOs etc. will be accepted if they are nationally or internationally recognized, have been registered/incorporated with the concerned government department/institution for doing business, maintain office(s), and have a proper registration number/reference number where applicable.
(iv) Candidates who fail to submit the required documents within the stipulated time or provide incorrect/incomplete information will be disqualified. Therefore, candidates are advised to have their documents ready for submission to FPSC by the due date.
(v) The requisition of documents should not be interpreted as a shortlist for the interview; eligibility will be determined based on documents and merit position. All aspects of candidate eligibility will be reckoned up to the closing date.
Admission Certificate: Admission Certificates for the Screening/Descriptive Test for respective posts will be available on the FPSC website (www.fpsc.gov.pk) a couple of weeks before the actual date of examination. Candidates are advised to frequently check the website for updates. They will also be informed via SMS. However, no information regarding the test will be sent through post.
Conduct of Test:
(i) Candidates must bring the original CNIC, Treasury Receipt, and a downloaded copy of the Admission Certificate to the Screening/Written Test.
(ii) Candidates will not be allowed entry into the Examination Hall without the original Treasury Receipt. Photocopy of T.R/Bank Scroll will not be accepted. Candidates are advised to preserve the original T.R to avoid inconvenience at the time of entry.
(iii) The test examination for Consolidated Advt. No. 6/2024 will be held as soon as possible after the closing date. Candidates should frequently visit the FPSC website for the test schedule.
Change of Centre: Candidates are allowed to request a change of Examination Centre only through an online request at least 1 month before the commencement of the examination.
