Position: Customer Support Officer (CSO)
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Customer Interaction:
- Greeting and assisting customers with their banking needs.
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Providing information about Allied Bank’s products and services.
Transaction Handling:
- Processing customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and account transfers.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank policies and procedures.
Problem Resolution:
- Handling customer complaints and providing effective solutions.
- Escalating complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
Sales and Referrals:
- Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable banking products and services.
- Referring customers to specialized departments for more complex financial services.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and documentation as required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Educational Background:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, preferably in business administration, finance, or a related field.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using banking software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience:
- Prior experience in customer service or a banking environment is advantageous but not mandatory. Fresh graduates with a passion for customer service are encouraged to apply.
