 Youth Internship Program for 2024 BEST4WEER Project

The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) is delighted to announce the Youth Internship Program (YIP – 2024) for fresh young graduates, both women and men, under its Five-Year project - Broadening Economic and Social Transformation for Women’s Economic Empowerment and Recovery (BEST4WEER), funded by the Global Affairs of Canada (GAC). The AKRSP internship program aims to provide an opportunity for fresh graduates to pursue their careers in their fields of study or career interests. The program offers a three-month internship with both public and private institutions or organizations. Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for this internship program.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

• Must be permanent residents of the following Union councils of the district as per the NADRA database: a. Astore (Marmay, Qamari, Rattu, Rehmanpure), b. Ghizer (Pingal, Sumal, Thoi, Yasin Proper), c. Gilgit (Chakarkote – Sai Bala, Damote – Sai Paeen, Oshikhandas/Jalalabad, Sakwar, Sharote/Shukyote), and d. Nagar (Fakar, Nagar Proper/Nagar Khaas, Sikandarabad).
• Must have at least a bachelor’s degree and completed graduation with 14 years of education. Or must have completed a diploma in technical themes such as DAE, B-Tech, etc., and be available for a three-month program on a full-time basis.
• Must be a fresh graduate (in 2023 onwards), with no prior working experience.
• Must be less than 35 years of age.
• Must not have benefited previously from any AKRSP initiated Internship Program.

Interested candidates from the above-mentioned Union Councils (UCs) of districts will be required to submit the registration form along with the following required documents in their respective LSO/CSO offices, Area Offices, or online application form along with required documents (upload CV, CNIC copy, and latest educational testimonial/document).

Incomplete forms will not be entertained or will be rejected. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the test and interview. During the interview, original documents would be checked.
