Vacancy Announcement: Research Associate
Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate under a Research Project sponsored by the Pakistan Science Foundation, Islamabad, titled "Study of Ice Tower Farming as an Adaptive Strategy to Conserve Water and its Socio-economic Impacts in the Karakorum and Himalayan Belt of Baltistan, Pakistan," with the following eligibility criteria:
Job Specification:
Candidates must hold an M.Sc/B.Sc (Hons) degree in one of the following fields: Natural Resource Management, Biological Science, Botany, Zoology, Earth Science, Forestry and Range Management, or Environmental Sciences. Applicants must have at least two first divisions (one in M.Sc/B.Sc (Hons)) with no third division throughout their academic career. Preference will be given to candidates with post M.Sc/B.Sc (Hons) research experience in the relevant field.
Remuneration:
The selected candidate will be offered a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 15,000/-. However, if the candidate is enrolled in an MPhil or Ph.D. program, the monthly salary will be Rs. 20,000/- and Rs. 25,000/- respectively. Please note that the selected candidate will be required to sign a bond for the entire duration of the project.
