SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR FEMALE STUDENTS OF SSC-I FOR BONAFIDE RESIDENTS OF HARD AREAS OF DISTRICT DIAMER UNDER THE SCHEME "SPECIAL INITIATIVE FOR PROMOTION OF FEMALE EDUCATION UNDER CHIEF MINISTER REFORMS UNIT IN DISTRICT DIAMER." ADP 2023-24 at S.No. 634

BACKGROUND: The prime objective of the foregoing scholarship program is to provide sustenance and support in promoting female education at Secondary and Higher Secondary Levels because the girls of hard areas are without access to the basic need of getting education especially at the secondary and higher secondary level. Secondly, District Diamer is facing an acute shortage of Female Human Resources to serve in the field of education, therefore, this project will adopt 25 girls in SSC-I from remote areas of the adjacent valleys where facilities for the continuation of SSC and HSSC education are unavailable.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Those female students will be eligible for the scholarship who are permanent residents of hard areas of District Diamer where no access for SSC & HSSC level education is available.
2. The female students who are already enrolled in SSC-I in any Government Educational Institution across GB may apply and their admission form must be endorsed by the Head of the respective institution.
3. The project will adopt 25 girl students in SSC-I in the 1st Year.
4. GB government will finance for each nominated/selected girl student in the form of a scholarship @8000/- per month.
5. These selected students will continue their education till completion of FA/FSc.
6. 85% attendance is mandatory in the educational institutions where they got admission.
7. Surety bond shall be required from the parents/guardians to continue their education and serve GB Govt. in their vicinity for 03 years after completion of education if required / appointed.
8. The final selection will be made on the basis of the lowest Monthly Income, Previous academic progress, and test/interview.

2. ID card parents.
3. Domicile of parents.
4. Admission certificate where the girl student is admitted.
5. Form-B.
6. Surety Bond @Rs. 10 must be attested from 1st Class Magistrate Chilas.
7. Four passport size photographs.
