Proposed Senate Resolution: Imposing Restrictions on Social Media Platforms in Pakistan

Senator Behramand Tangi has proposed a resolution in the Senate to impose restrictions on social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

The Senate has included Behramand Tangi's resolution in the agenda for discussion at the Senate session scheduled for Monday.

On agenda item number 32 of the Senate, the agreement of Senator Behramand Tangi, elected from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, has been included for discussion and approval or rejection.

The agreement states that an attempt is being made to deceive the youth by promoting fake leadership through social media platforms. Therefore, restrictions should be imposed on social media platforms.
