The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, through the Gilgit Development Authority, is undertaking a significant project aimed at improving the sanitation and sewerage system in Gilgit City. In line with this initiative, applications are now being invited for various contractual positions within the project management unit of the Sanitary & Sewerage System project.
The project director, representing the Gilgit Development Authority, is spearheading this endeavor and is seeking competent individuals to join the team in various capacities. The positions available are as follows:
1. DPD (Deputy Project Director): This role is crucial in providing strategic direction and oversight to the project. The Deputy Project Director will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing resources, and ensuring timely implementation of the sanitary and sewerage system project in Gilgit City.
2. Sub Engineer: The Sub Engineer will play a key role in the technical aspects of the project. Responsibilities may include conducting surveys, preparing engineering designs and drawings, supervising construction activities, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and standards.
3. Assistant: The Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to the project management unit. This may involve handling correspondence, maintaining records, scheduling meetings, and assisting in project documentation and reporting.
4. AutoCAD Operator: The AutoCAD Operator will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings using AutoCAD software. This role is crucial for translating design concepts into detailed drawings that guide the implementation of infrastructure projects.
5. Guards: Security is essential for the protection of project assets and personnel. Guards will be tasked with maintaining security at project sites, monitoring access, preventing unauthorized entry, and ensuring the safety of project staff and equipment.
