Appeal for Justice: Failure to Conduct Voting for 32 Positions at Gilgit Division Post Office
The test interviews for 32 positions at the Gilgit Division Post Office took place on August 8, 2023, following recruitment orders issued for Gilgit Division, similar to those issued for vacancies nationwide. However, the matter was subsequently taken to the Supreme Court. A month later, the court rescinded the orders and issued an order for the immediate voting of all 32 individuals. Unfortunately, the institution has shown reluctance to comply and has disregarded the court's order, demonstrating defiance against the judiciary. Such actions amount to contempt of court.
Despite immediate voting being coinducted for recruitments in all regions except for Gilgit Division, the failure to conduct voting for the 32 individuals from Gilgit Division, despite the court's order, is a grave injustice. We appeal to the government, judiciary, and authoritative institutions to ensure that voting for all 32 individuals is promptly conducted so that justice prevails and the rights of the underprivileged are protected.
