In yet another stride towards gender inclusivity and judicial excellence, Gilgit-Baltistan proudly introduces Saeeda Mirbaz Khan, a distinguished jurist hailing from Sultanabad, Dayore Gilgit.

 Saeeda currently holds the esteemed position of Civil Judge cum Judicial Magistrate in Hunza, adding to the esteemed cadre of women judges in Gilgit-Baltistan.



Her academic journey is adorned with accolades, having earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Punjab, followed by an LLM from the International Islamic University, and a diploma in the Honor Code of Justice from Harvard University, USA. Saeeda further pursued her academic pursuits by obtaining a Ph.D. in Corporate Law, along with master's degrees in Political Sciences and Gender Studies.

In addition to her academic endeavors, Dr. Saeeda served as an Assistant Professor of Law in various colleges and universities in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, shaping the minds of future legal practitioners while contributing through her scholarly articles.

Despite tempting opportunities from prestigious industries in the USA,  Saeeda's unwavering dedication to the field of judiciary remained steadfast.



Upon her return to Pakistan, Saeeda joined the Gilgit Baltistan judiciary, where she distinguished herself by securing the top position in the competitive examination for an open merit seat, amidst intense competition.

Saeeda Mirbaz Khan's journey exemplifies the power of determination and passion in shaping one's destiny, serving as an inspiration to aspiring legal professionals and women across the nation.
