"You bloody bitch..... have you looked at your body " is the most trending lines on social media platforms and electronic media. Bravo a success has come to us! It pains to see that ,we are jubilantly rejoicing the abusive language for a lady by the playwright Khalel-ur Rahman. The linchpin of such sexist remarks by a writer and the moral brigades on social media are the totalitarian mindset who have no know-how about the Beauty of diversity in a healthy society and they have no moral courage to listen other person's ideology. The history of humankind is full of ramifications of totalitarian rule and law which have destroyed the social febrics. Nonetheless, indeed everyone has the right to oppose ones ideology but in a civilized manner. One may not like the Orat March's slogans but no one has the authority to abuse under the pretext of that slogans. No one has morally, religiously and legally right to make sexist remarks regardless of gender differences. The dilemma of our nation is that we don't understand the real issues but instead of going deeper to the issues we love to follow the paths of other people blindly. Hardly, a few people are seen speaking against the language that the poet and playwright has used for a woman just because she has given him a shut up call. On the other hand, making the abuser hero, supporters are seen in a long queue. Have a pause here. Have a control on your nerves. Don't be Khalel-ur Rahamn here.Because the next point may show us the hypocrisy of all of us. The following lines are some examples from English literature that draw pictures of women as the moral brigades have been picturing. William Shakespeare pens in his most celebrated play Hamlet: " Frailty thy name is woman". The next is William Faulkner. He gives words to his thought: " once a bitch always a bitch, what I say". Have some examples from our society. Few months ago a girl gone missing. She was abducted when he was his friend. Again the social media moral brigades to support the abusers instead of showing sympathy to the family. The purpose aforementioned flashbacks of plays is to undress our hypocrisies. Shakespeare is loved, Faulkner is appreciated in our schools, colleges and universities then we blame the west that they are doing everything. It is us who are helping to produce Khalel-ur Rahman not west. It is us who are using the name of religion to abuse the one who has different pattern of thinking. It is us who are using the names of great names of religion to defend the person who calls names a woman before the national television. Additionally, without accepting the hypocrisies that we are doing with our own bloods, the habit of blame-gaming of our nation may more shake the already shaken society. To stop the sexist remarks, we should teach the moral brigades that no one has the right to speak anyone's body, color and race so on just because he or she has different opinion than you. Lastly, don't be shocked of seeing someone calling our loved ones "look at your body first bitch" if we don't work to bring the structural changes that would cure so many sexist mindset.
