Gilgit Baltistan (GB)

Gilgit Baltistan is an administrative territory of Pakistan, that’s borders are touch the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the west, Azad kashmir the southwest, Wakhan Corridor of Afghanistan to the northwest, the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China to the north, and the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir to the south and southeast.
In Gilgit different type of casts people are live, cast’s name (Sheen, Yashkun, Kramin, Doom, Raja,)
Lustrate a casts system is going to remove, but in some areas till now casts system are present.
History
In Kashmir Sikhs were ruling, its name was Dogra Raj.
In 1846 Dogra Raj had attacked on Gilgit Baltistan, that time Gilgit Baltistan natives were ruling on GB, so native of GB fought with Dogra Raj and killed number of Dogras,and safe their self, that time Dogras defeated war.
When second time Dogras attacked on GB, this time Dogras had brought some natives, due to traitor’s treason, Dogras was start ruling on Gilgit Baltistan. Dogras was start ruling before one hundred and one (101) year ago before the independent of Pakistan, Dogras continuously ruling one hundred and three years.
That time every state gave tax to Dogra Raj, and for safety and control of their ruling they made a force on GB, force name was Gilgit Baltistan Scouts. Later on selfsame scout has been hero of Independence of GB.
When Pakistan was occurred in 14 August 1947 then GB People also started moment of independence, above all Gilgit Baltistans Scouts’ Native Scout officer kernel Mirza Hassan Ali Khan started a successful revolution, Natives of GB fought by stones and sticks with Dogras, at last People of Gilgit Baltistan got Independent.
In Gilgit Baltistan made new Government, whose President was Shah Raees Khan, and kernel Hassan was oppointed as a chief of Gilgit Baltistan Scouts, and this government was sustain only sixteen days, then they have meeting with founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for abandon of Gilgit Baltistan with Pakistan, and Quaid e Azam accept this abandon.
That time one Pakistan political agent Sardar Alam sent to Gilgit Baltistan and frontier Crimes Regulation FCR to applied as a law. GB people hoped Pakistan Government will have province and they will have been called Pakistani, but Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir Issue has to abandon and not made province, till now Gilgit Baltistan is not a province.
Till 1972 in Gilgit Baltistan Rajas was govern in GB, in 1972 Pakistan’s Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali buhtto Come in Gilgit Baltistan, and he finished Rajas system, he made eighteen members northern area adviser consul, who selected by direct election.
Later on in 2009 Pakistan people party changed the name of northern area and have name Gilgit Baltistan, and has given provincial setup, but not give appropriate province consultant till now.
Importance of Gilgit Baltistan
Gilgit Baltistan is very important zone for Pakistan in many reasons
• The world second largest K2 mountain is nestled in Gilgit baltistan, its height is (8611M)
• The world 9th largest mountain Nanga Parbat is also settled in Gilgit Baltistan, its height is (8125M).
• Sindh river is very important for Pakistan, it is also passes from Gilgit Baltistan.
• Many large and large glaciers are present in Gilgit Baltistan.
• Gilgit Baltistan’s literacy rate is (80+) high as compare to all over Pakistan.
• Diamer Basha dam is constructing in Gilgit Baltistan.
• Crime rate in Gilgit Baltistan is almost nil.
• Roof of the world Deosai is situated in GB, Deosai is also countable place for beauty in world level.
• In Gilgit Baltistan Number of Picnic points are available, where Millions of people come in GB for picnic, even than numbers of foreign tourist come in Gilgit Baltistan for picnic.
• In current era Gilgit Baltistan is most important for many countries, especially China and Pakistan, because China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) passes from Gilgit Baltistan.
China and Pakistan connect in khunjrab border, in 150km distance turgum China is situated, and distance between khunjrab and sust pakistan is 70km.
CPEC gives many benefits to China and Pakistan, China will wealthy in trade because china will provide their products world level, they will reach their products in short time because they will travel in short way, due to short way their expense will be less and profit will worthy.
CPEC’s profit in Pakistan is that Pakistan’s Gwadar port will progress and large of numbers jobs provide Pakistani people, here just share one benefit but CPEC has many benefits for both countries.
Gilgit Baltistan is very importan for CPEC because GB as important for CPEC like pillars is important for a building.
Gilgit Baltistan is aslo important for many countries because One Belt One Road is not end in Pakistan it connects many countries, because Gilgit Baltistan have value in world level.
