ORDNANCE FACTORIES INTERNSHIP
**Pakistan Ordnance Factories - Artisan Training Scheme (Batch No. 53, 1st Phase)**
Applications are invited from male/female citizens of Pakistan for the engagement of 150 Artisans for Batch No. 53 (1st Phase) under the 'ARTISAN TRAINING SCHEME.' Selected candidates will undergo training at the Pakistan Ordnance Factories Institute of Technology, WAH CANTT, as per the provisions of the Apprentice Ordinance, 1962. The distribution of seats is as follows:
- Merit: 11
- KPK: 17
- Sind-Urban: 12
- G.B/FATA: 06
- Punjab: 75
- Sind-Rural: 17
- Baloch: 09
- Total = 150 Seats
**ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:**
- Qualification: Matric with Science (Minimum 2nd Division)
- Age: 17 to 21 years as of 17-04-2018
- Duration of Training: 1-1/2 years
**PAYMENT OF STIPEND DURING TRAINING:**
- 1st semester (06 months): 50% of BPS-5 (Rs. 5130/p.m)
- 2nd semester (06 months): 60% of BPS-5 (Rs. 6156/p.m)
- 3rd semester (06 months): 80% of BPS-5 (Rs. 8208/p.m)
**TERMS & CONDITIONS:**
- **Affidavit:** Fresh entrants must submit an affidavit on stamp paper valuing Rs. 100/-, duly signed by their surety, committing to complete their training satisfactorily.
- **Employment:** POF Management is not obligated to offer jobs to all apprentices, but successful apprentices may be absorbed in POF subject to seat availability, with an understanding that they will have to serve POF if a job is offered.
- **Bond Deed:** Artisans offered a job after training completion must execute a prescribed bond to serve in POF for a minimum period of 6 years. Leaving before completion will require a refund of all training expenses, including a penalty of Rs. 50,000/-.
**ACCOMMODATION:**
Hostel accommodation will be provided to selected candidates on demand, subject to availability on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Applications must be submitted online using the proforma available on our website [www.pof.gov.pk](http://www.pof.gov.pk) latest by 17-04-2018. Postal applications will not be entertained.
**Note:** Ex-Artisans terminated on disciplinary grounds are not eligible to apply. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview through SMS, so applicants must provide an active mobile number (non-converted to any other network) on the application proforma. POF will not take responsibility for non-receipt of SMS due to any reason.
