Responsibilities:
- Assist the credit manager in exercising controls on all credits allowed and ensure that bad debts are kept to the lowest possible level.
- Supervise the work of credit staff.
- Consider and verify all credit applications and make recommendations accordingly.
- Liaise with other staff, companies, and banks to assess the creditworthiness of account applicants.
- Maintain accounts/files of each account holder.
- Ensure that every account is authorized by management.
- Ensure that invoices are duly supported by documents before delivery to the guest.
- Ensure timely dispatch of invoices.
- Expedite the recovery function and make follow-up recovery calls.
- Manage the preparation of schedules for recovery.
- Establish liaison and coordinate with front office, banquets, and sales departments for city ledger and related queries.
- Delegate tasks and objectives for achieving goals and parameters in the shortest possible timeframe.
- Reconciliation of accounts.
- Month-end closings.
- Reminders, correspondence, and follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 22000, and OHSAS 18001 requirements.
