Applications are invited for admission to various Master's programs at Karakoram International University Gilgit-Baltistan. Below is the course summary and admission requirements for MA and MSc 2 Years Programs:

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences:

1. Department of Behavioral Sciences

   • MSc Behavioral Sciences

     • Pre-Requisites: BA/BSc with at least 2nd Division (45% Marks), preference given to Psychology, Anthropology, and Sociology backgrounds.

   • Preferred Subjects: Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Civics.
   • Duration: 2 Years
   • Number of Seats: 40 (Including GB, National, and reserved seats)

1. Advertisement: 27th November 2017
2. Issuance/Acceptance of Admission Forms: 27th November to 20th December 2017
3. Last date for submission of Admission Form: 20th December 2017
4. Sharing the Data with department: 26th December 2017
5. Display of Applicant List: 26th December 2017
6. Interviews: 27th, 28th, 29th December 2017
7. Display of 1st Merit List: 2nd to 5th January 2018
8. Display of 2nd Merit List: 9th to 12th January 2018
9. Display of 3rd Merit List: 16th to 19th January 2018
10. Appeal Cases + Admission on Reserve Seats: 19th February to 21st February 2018

Form/Prospectus Charges: Rs. 1000/-

Admission Form/Prospectus is available in Student Affairs Office, Karakoram International University Gilgit, and Hunza Campus on working days (Monday to Friday between 08:00 am to 04:00 pm) on payment of Rs. 1000/- through bank draft/challan.

Important Notes:

• Admission Form can be downloaded from the KIU website (kiu.edu.pk). In such cases, the applicant must attach a bank draft of Rs. 1000/- in the name of Treasurer KIU Gilgit-Baltistan.
• No admission form will be received after the last date.
• Candidates are responsible for tracking the KIU website for interview dates. For Hunza Campus, candidates should follow updates specific to Hunza Campus.
• No separate call letters will be issued.
